Cal Poly Arts strives to enrich the student experience on campus through a vibrant array of performances, workshops and masterclasses, providing access to the world’s best professional touring artists.

While on Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s campus, many visiting artists engage in master classes, lecture/demonstrations, workshops, and co-creation experiences with students in partnership with academic departments and faculty.

Activities explore the creative process, inspiration, artistic technique and expression, as well as the socio-political contexts in which the art is created. These experiences are accessible to students of diverse majors across campus.
