Sponsorship of a Cal Poly Arts performance is an excellent way to show your support for our artists and ensure vibrant performing arts experiences on the Central Coast

Q. Can I make a payment plan towards my Season Sponsorship?
A. We can break up your sponsorship into three payments, with the total balance paid in full by February 28, 2024. If you have additional questions about payments and special accommodations, please contact Maria Taylor at mtaylo83@calpoly.edu.
Q. Can Season Sponsors also be in the VIP Membership program?
A. Poly Arts introduced our VIP Membership program in our ’18-19 season. With the VIP Membership, donors receive extensive exclusive benefits, including extra discounts on tickets. Cash Season Sponsors at $2,500 level and above will automatically be enrolled in our VIP Membership at the top level and will receive the benefits of Sponsorship and VIP Membership!
Q. What is the premium of my Season Sponsorship or Membership?
A. Please note that in keeping with IRS regulations, the fair market value of certain benefits is not tax-deductible. The “premium” (benefits) amounts listed will be subtracted from your gift to determine the tax-deductible value and will be reflected on your gift receipt from Cal Poly University Development. The premium is the portion of your gift that corresponds with benefits received. Therefore, the premium portion is not tax-deductible. Premiums are listed for each level of Season Sponsorship or VIP Membership. If you would like to become a member or sponsor but waive all benefits and receive full credit for your gift, you can do so by contacting Maria Taylor at mtaylo83@calpoly.edu directly.
Q. Is there special parking for Season Sponsors for your sponsored event?
A. As a Season Sponsor or VIP Member at the Benefactor Level ($1,500+) or above, you will receive a placard that will allow you to park on the top level of the structure at all Cal Poly Arts events. If you are a Season Sponsor, you will receive a designated parking space on the top level of the structure with your name on it for your event.
Q. What is a hosted reception?
A. During either pre-show or at intermission you and your guests will be invited to a reception with complimentary snacks and beverages. Hosted receptions are provided for sponsorships at the $2,500 level and above. *We are unable to serve alcohol at Spanos Theatre events.
Q. Can I charge my Show Sponsorship to my credit card?
A. Yes. We accept Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover. Please contact Cal Poly Arts directly by phone 805-756-6556 or e-mail Maria Taylor at mtaylo83@calpoly.edu to pay with card.
Q. Will you invoice me for my Show Sponsorship?
A. Yes, we are happy to do so for your records.
